DDV in Brussels

The DDV endeavours to increase its members´ capacity of influence, anticipation, and smoother implementation of the regulation for a thriving business. For this purpose, the DDV is, through its Brussels office, in close contact with European policymakers and other stakeholders. A central objective of the DDV is to increase stakeholder knowledge of the world of structured securities via providing information on the products and the dynamics of the markets, bearing in mind the interests of the issuers and intermediaries, as well as the capacity of retail investors to access and participate in markets in an informed manner. The DDV aims to contribute its expertise in the context of the capital markets regulation and participates actively in the legislative process through providing technical expertise combined with a thoughtful political approach. In close coordination with its counterparts in other European countries and with its European association EUSIPA, the DDV endeavours to be an active player at the European level through committed national engagement.
